Overview:
Arizona Commission on the Arts had an existing, extensive site built in WordPress that required a clean up and categorizing of their posts and pages and the inclusion of a mini-calendar to display important dates. They also requested a search system that allowed users to filter their grant and job postings.
My Contribution:
I developed a child theme based on an existing WordPress theme that they had in place, updting the layout of the homepage to add the required calendar to display the most recent events from a plugin and utilizing Advanced Custom Fields to accomplish the filtering of their grant and job postings.
Outcome:
The result was a webiste that scaled responsively across devices and delivered a more streamlined user experience for searching their listings.
