Overview:
The I Want Her Job website site showcases the jobs and opportunities available for women in the tech industry and was using an older, un-supported CMS that needed to be updated to WordPress for easier mangagment by the client.
Implementation:
I exported the old CMS database tables that could be used by WordPress and updated the content and styling to fit a WordPress theme that the client had purchased. I utilized the I Want Her Job brand colors and fonts to customize the theme and wrote CSS and JavaScript for specific requests that was injected into the theme via a plugin.
Outcome:
A clean, updated website that handled specific functional and desgin requests, while utilizing a theme that was familiar and easy for the client to manage the content.
